2. Sign in to your newly created profile and browse our exciting opportunities. When you have found a position that you are interested in click on the “Apply now” button.
3. Set up job alerts to receive email notifications when positions fitting your skills, location and interests become available.
Hiring process
Here's what to expect after you apply for a position:
1. Application confirmation: You’ll get an email within 72 hours confirming your application has been received. Canada Post frequently communicates by email so please ensure to check your junk mail folder for diverted emails.
2. Review process: Our team will review your application. If you are selected, we will contact you to arrange an interview.
3. Interview process: If selected, you will be interviewed by our hiring team which could be in person or virtually. Candidates will have the choice to be interviewed in either English or French. Ensure you confirm with the recruiter which language you prefer.
4. Testing: Depending on your role that you have applied for, you may be required to complete one or more tests. Some testing could be conducted by a third-party company other than Canada Post.
5. Next steps: Once you have completed the interview and/or testing steps, you will receive communication from our hiring team on your results.
If you have been successful at the interview and/or testing steps, we will invite you to the next steps in our recruitment process.
6. Reference check and/or education verification: Depending on the job you’ve applied for you might be contacted by a third-party company other than Canada Post to provide information for a reference check and/or education verification.
7. Security screening: At Canada Post all new potential candidates must also complete a security screening process. Specific instructions about this process will be sent to you by email.
8. Onboarding: Successful candidates will be contacted with a job offer and provided onboarding documents.
9. Training: Depending on your role you may be required to attend classroom training, on the job training or complete online courses.
