Job Responsibilities
Canada Post is anticipating openings for students to work in the following areas of business:
- Accounting/Finance
Job Responsibilities (continued)
This team assists customers with account issues such as blocks and over-limit situations. Our responsibilities include answering phones and responding to customer inquiries via email. Additionally, we handle invoice adjustments, manage payments, and perform soft collections.
Qualifications
Education
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
- Enrolled in a Finance/Accounting or Business program preferred.
Experience
- No experience required

- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Adaptable: ability to work effectively in different situations and/or with different people
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Various technical skills based on business area requirements
- Various linguistic profiles dependent on position
- Bilingualism considered an asset

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Summer Student Employment program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Study in one of the Corporation’s areas of business mentioned above
- Have completed your first year of University, College or Cégep, and
- Be enrolled for the following year
