Qualifications

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
  • Specific education and year of study may be required depending on the student role

 

Experience 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel – Intermediate /Advanced Level required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access – Intermediate /Advanced Level required
  • Working knowledge of SQL& Power BI-Intermediate /Advanced Level required

 

Other Candidate Requirements 

  • Ability to prepare period reporting documents for review and approval by supervisor/manager.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information using Excel, MS Access and other tools
  • Able to prepare and present financial information to Managers and Executives in a clear and succinct manner
  • Able to effectively communicate, negotiate and influence internal and external customers
  • Good judgment, organizational skills, analytical and decision-making skills and recognized for problem solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Maintains a positive attitude in the work environment
  • Acts with tact and diplomacy when dealing with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Fosters cooperation within the team and with other stakeholders
  • Bilingualism considered an asset

To be eligible for the Summer Student Employment program, you must meet the following criteria:

 

  • Study in one of the Corporation’s areas of business mentioned above
  • Have completed your first year of University, College or Cégep, and
  • Be enrolled for the following year
